Using only the essential components, Alientech have merged J-Tag, Motorola BDM/Nexus and Bootloader Mits u-bishi/Infineon Tricore/ST communication lines into a single product.
K-TAG works in perfect harmony. Learn how to use K-TAG takes almost no time, because all the communication protocols operate along similar principles. Once you have learned to use a protocol, you will naturally use all the others. Alientech knows what it means to work in motion. BDM100 programmer
BDM 100 is a universal reader/programmer (it does not require our RACE software necessarily) that allows the user to read and program files in the ECU supplied with MOTOROLA MPC5xx processor (essential)
BDM 100 requires the ECU to be open, "on the bench", as the reading/programming operations are realized by linking a flat cable to specific area the ECU (the tool, on the other side, is linked to the USB port of a computer)
BDM 100 allows also to create perfect copies of the whole software of an ECU (after having read the original ECU software).
The software allows to read and program the WHOLE ECU content of:
29BL802 SSOP eprom file (or ROM memory with maps if eprom physically not present);
MOTOROLA MPC5xx Processor file;
Serial Eprom content.
Please note that even in the case of the ECU blocking, due to the wrong checksum recalculation, the ECU can always be reprogrammed and then retrieved (if the original software has been previously stored).

Q: KESS V2 is master version or slave version?
A: It is master version.
Q: KEES V2 just can be installed on windows XP system?
A: KESS V2 can install it on Windows 7 and Windows XP.
Q: What is the difference Between KESS V2 and K-TAG?
A: KESS V2 has OBD function, but Ktag does not have this function.
Q: What is the difference Between KESS V2 and Fgtech V53?
A: They both can do many cars, but they do cars via different ways. Fgtech V53 has BDM function, but KESS V2 does not have. Kess V2 has Anti-mediation lock module, it can do new and encrypted cars better than Fgtech V53.
Q: Customer told us that KESS V2 can not do EDC17 well, such as EDC 17 (cp04- CP14-CAN-Med17.X ) and EDC 17 C54 (Passat, Golf,Crafter,Octavia,Yeti-VW). EDC16 all ok.
A: Yes, Kess V2 can not do EDC17 at present. It can do EDC16 well, but when you do it, you need to connect the Anti-mediation lock module to read and write data for vehicles. Becuase new style vihicles have new encrypted ways
